The walk is for dogs that are already comfortable in a group. It is not the place to socialise a dog for the first time.
If your dog is shy, reactive or new to this, tell us in the form. We will talk first and find a good way to start.

Ericeira is full of people who came from somewhere else: surfers, remote workers, families starting over. Many of us know more dogs by name than neighbours.
Working from home is quiet, and making friends as an adult is slow. A dog gets you out of the house twice a day. Sun Dog Club puts everyone on the same path at the same time.
The club was started in October 2026 in Ericeira, Portugal, by two dog people. One looks after dogs for a living, the other builds things on the internet. On the walks we are members like you.
A sun dog is a real thing in the sky: two bright spots that appear on either side of the sun when it is low, at sunrise and at sunset. They follow the sun the way dogs follow their human.
